Distinctive Instructions That Expand EFT Results

May 15th, 2008 StewartRobertson Posted in Self Help | No Comments »

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a new energy psychology method for healing emotional and physical ailments. Tapping on specific stress-relief points on the body, based on the acupressure of the ancient Chinese, brings accelerated relief from troublesome memories, addiction, pain and much more.

This article is a useful technique to add on, for those already familiar with EFT.

Used together with tapping, it has many compelling benefits, including improving the testing of results, and finding core memories for “emotion-less” clients.

Many will recognise it as an adapted technique from NLP(Neuro Linguistic Programming).

Here it is.

1) Assuming your client has identified some intensity to work on, encourage them to physical-ise it, (i.e. “where do you feel that in your body?”).

2) Now encourage them to see, hear or feel this energy in their body and begin to feel it moving – slowly at first - down through their body and out through their feet, out into the outside world, then back down through the top of their head, and down through their body and out again…in this way forming a loop, like a ferris wheel at the fair. Gesture using your hands towards the energy visually moving, and move only at a rate that the client can work with.

3) Check in with client frequently on SUDS (Subjective Units of Distress) levels experienced. Quickly at first, to establish if this is the right direction for the wheel to turn in for your intended outcome and the clients benefit at this particular moment.

4) Increase client’s awareness of the energy by asking for colours, feelings, texture, weight, sounds, etc coming from the energy; gradually increase the speed of the energy moving, and check back in with SUDS intensity. Typically it will have lowered by this point. Instruct client to continue feeling the energy moving in this way, with increasing speed.

5) Now you can introduce whatever tapping procedure you wish at this point. Normally I would be tapping on the client here, to allow them to stay with the flow of energy. Usually the combination of tapping and internal energy shifting will bring substantial results.

Important caveat – I’ve found that most **but not all** folks increase SUDS when the wheel spins up through the body, and decrease SUDS when the wheel spins down through the body; but naturally have a practice run first with your client to establish which way is right for them.

Worked example:

Working with a client it might go like this:

“Feel where that energy is in your body…good. Now, begin to feel the energy moving down through your body, through the legs and out… feel it leaving through the soles of your feet and out into the world…and as it does so it moves round in a loop like this (therapist following loop of energy with finger in the air) and back in through the top of your head and down through the body again, so that its moving round in a loop like this, kind of like a ferris wheel at the fair, you know? That’s right, and it’s moving round at just the right speed…can you feel that…and I know this energy has a colour, what colour is it?…Good. And as it spins like this it begins to move faster and faster so that it’s moving down through the body and out, down and out, down through the body and out… down through the body and out…”

Flexibility:

Once set up with the client, you can now move the ferris wheel in forward or reverse mode to modulate your client’s level of association into or out of a specific memory, thus it’s a great tool to keep your clients SUDS at just the right level so that you continue to have enough intensity to work on, and yet are keeping them emotionally safe and out of fight/flight.

I’ve also found that introducing some tapping at any point in the procedure will normally help things along, e.g. if client can’t initially identify or “feel” the energy in their body.

Possible Uses:

1) SUDS Management Tool

As above, use throughout a session as a general SUDS management tool to maintain client in a tear-free place whilst continuing to make material progress on any remaining aspects or intensity.

2) To Help Dig Up Core Memories For Otherwise Tricky, “Unfeeling“ Clients

Take the current feeling, (usually emotionally void, SUDS zero) and spin the ferris wheel in the “wrong” direction, in order to increase intensity (not too much), such that when you invite the client to backtrack in their mind to find related memories, there is enough “charge” there for their unconscious mind to find a link to a relevant memory. Once in the memory, turn the wheel in the other direction to bring the client back into a comfortable emotional place to begin working on the memory, using tapping in the normal way.

3) As A Quality Tool To Help Resolve Emotional Hijack

I’ve found that having the client focus on moving the ferris wheel in the appropriate direction (make sure you’ve established this first) whilst you continuously tap on every point repeatedly will help to rapidly dissipate an emotional hijack situation.

4) As An Additional Testing Tool

Add this to your toolkit for very thorough testing. As an alternative to you re-enacting the movie, or role-playing, or re-telling the story again, to test your work, have the client relive the scene whilst spinning the wheel in the “wrong direction” to try to bring intensity levels up. Then stomp all over anything that shows up with EFT as normal.

Final tip – always calibrate your clients awareness of the energy – they must “feel” the energy moving in their body. If they don’t, slow the speed of the loop down to let them catch up.

The Ongoing Debate About Neuro Linguistic Programming

May 15th, 2008 DianeValerie Posted in Self Help | No Comments »

Neuro linguistic programming (NLP) has been a controversial issue ever since it first came to light in the 1970’s. The co-founders of NLP were Richard Bandler (mathematician) and John Grinder (linguist).

The pair came together in an effort to find the basic answer of what makes certain people more successful than others. Throughout history great people have achieved some of the most amazing feats that man kind could ever have imagined.

The question is why is it that Bobby Baker is the head CEO of a business firm and his brother Billy is still in the mail room? Both the brothers grew up in the same household, went to the same schools, achieved the same grades, lived in the same apartment, but for some odd reason Bobby is more successful than Billy.

Bandler and Grinder spent years of their lives searching for the answer to that question. They felt if they could take a group of successful people and document their every move, they could come up with some type of structured model that could be used to teach others to behave the same way.

To be able to prove a theory like that would probably be one of the greatest finds of our time. The only problem that everyone seems to be having is providing the evidence to support this brilliant theory.

This has been the ongoing debate for over 30 years regarding this alternative form of psycho therapy. Great idea, but where’s your proof?

Based on the infamous “model” created by Grinder and Bandler, the way that a client moves or speaks is really providing a hidden glimpse into their subconscious minds.

This is believable to a certain extent; but what about environmental variables? For example, a man is sitting and speaking to his NLP coach and suddenly shifts his eye to the left after a question has been asked of him. Does this automatically mean that he is avoiding the question? Is he lying?

No, not necessarily. It could be possible that an insect flew past his peripheral vision and caused him to react in such a way. How could we ever even try to begin to decide which of these statements is correct? Most importantly, what type of negative effect might this have on the client in the long run?

That client knows for a fact that an insect flew past him, but his NLP coach is insisting that something in his deep psyche caused him to react that way following the question. The negative effects that this could have on a person who is desperate for guidance could be catastrophic.

It has been scientifically proven that there have been patients that have cured their own minor medical problems with mind power alone.

Imagine if that process was reversed! An average confident client seeks the help of an NLP coach for a few months to help him/her through a rough spot in their career. The next thing you know, that same person walks away from the experience afraid to look another person in the eyes for fear of relaying the wrong message through body or eye contact.

In fairness, not all NLP coaches behave this way. There are many ways to interpret the teachings of Grinder and Bandler, but finding a person that has experience in the correct way to utilize them can be difficult.

The advancement of this psycho therapy must be entered into cautiously and with a full understanding of the theory that is behind this controversial form of mind modification.

Research carefully and make sure you are prepared to entrust your mental well being with your selected coach before traveling down this particular road of therapy.

Life Coach Or Life Hoax?

May 15th, 2008 AnthonyKouma Posted in Self Help | No Comments »

The latest craze sweeping the world is life coaching. It’s quite an interesting concept if you sit and think about it. Whenever you need to shape your body the first person you’re inclined to find is a personal trainer.

So whenever you need to shape up your life; shouldn’t your first stop be to a personal life trainer? It really is hard to grasp the point of it all. It’s just as easy to call up a buddy and get some good friendly advice, right? Some people still go that route, but most people now a day understand the importance of having a life coach.

It’s important to have a trained professional by your side as you walk through paths of your life not sure which way to turn. Living in the 20th century, life moves at such a high pace that you must take advantage of every minute of the day.

Nobody wants to wake up one morning and look in the mirror regretting not being able to achieve the goals they dreamed of their whole lives. If you take the time to find a good life coach, you will never have to worry about things like that again.

An experienced “authentic” life coach will nudge you gently in the right direction and then follow beside you, not behind you like most others will. It’s important to learn what to look for when you finally take the first step in finding a coach of your own.

At the present time, there are no strict governing guidelines regarding life coaching. Yes, there are organizations out there that offer a few certificates and maybe a gold sticker on a piece of paper, but is that what really matters? Not too many people are willing to risk putting their future in the hands of some person that showed up to a few lectures and paid a fee for a certificate.

Spend some time browsing through the internet and see if you can find the difference. I’m not talking about a competition of who has the flashiest website either. Good life coaches have a strong positive aura that just seems to explode out of them. Find a good site you feel comfortable with and then just read the words of the coach.

If you don’t feel a comfort level within the first few minutes of reading then that probably isn’t the right partner you need. Partner is a better word to use when you talk about life coaching. A coach is normally somebody that you would expect to show you how something is done and then have you keep doing the same thing until you have finally learned it. That’s not really the point of having a life coach. You are looking for a partner in your journey to personal success not an instructor that’s going to pave the way for you!

There are some amazing people out there and there are some mediocre wannabes. Take the time to learn the difference and your road to success will be smooth.

The True Power Of Law Of Attraction

May 15th, 2008 WendyBetterini Posted in Self Help | No Comments »

One of the greatest gifts we receive as deliberate creators is an awakening to our true power to choose our life experiences day to day. Most of us are used to living our lives in response to the things we see and experience in our external surroundings. When everything moves along smoothly for us, we feel good. When things go wrong, we feel bad. We are constantly on a roller coaster of up and down emotions. In other words, we tend to take a passive role in our daily lives, rather than a proactive one.

However, the more we study and apply the Law of Attraction consciously in our lives, the more we realize that our outer experiences are simply the RESULT of what we’ve been thinking and feeling.

For most of my early life, I remember wondering why life had to be so HARD all the time. Everything was a struggle for me. I faced constant obstacles no matter what I was trying to accomplish, and things rarely worked out like I wanted them to. I remember writing in my diary that I felt like everything was an uphill climb for me, and I wondered if I had been born under the influence some mysterious “curse” or something! ;-)

Looking back now, I can see so clearly that I was creating ALL of it. Every day I awoke with a sense of defeat in my heart, “knowing” that things wouldn’t work out for me that day. I envisioned all of the challenges I would probably have to face that day. I dreaded trying new things because I “knew” they would be difficult. I dreaded meeting new people because I “knew” they probably wouldn’t like me. (Do you see a pattern here? *grin*)

Of course, all of those expectations became self-fulfilling prophecies. I was born under the influence of a curse all right - one of my own making! It’s called Negativity.

My life today is so very different. I’m surrounded by miracles. Everything goes smoothly for me. Things work out the way I want them to. I’ve become one of those “lucky” people that receive great opportunities without having to lift a finger. I’m happy, healthy and prosperous.

What changed? MY FOCUS.

I finally awakened to the fact that I had the power to CHOOSE the experiences of my life. I finally realized that I’ve been choosing all along. So have you. We all have.

Since you are reading this article, you are probably familiar with the basics of the Law of Attraction. Perhaps you’ve even had some success using it in your own life. But if you still haven’t fully awakened to your power to consciously choose your day to day experiences, here are three powerful ways to get started doing so:

1) Expect the best, always.

When you awaken each day, think about the things you want to experience that day, and mentally live them as though they are happening now. Want to win the lottery? Visualize it! Want to meet some fun new friends? Visualize it! Want to receive a raise or promotion at work? Visualize it! There are NO LIMITS to the amazing “mind movies” you can create. As you visualize these wonderful things happening to you, you are actually shifting your vibrational frequency and moving yourself into alignment with them - and with other great things that you haven’t even imagined yet. Try it, it is a powerful exercise!

2) Ditch the negativity.

Fear, worry, doubt and other negative words should be stricken from your vocabulary altogether. Not only should you discard the words - discard the emotions that come along with them! If you catch yourself feeling or thinking negatively, do anything you can to shift back into a positive state of mind. Visualize something wonderful again, or do something that makes you feel happy. Be grateful. Be inspired. Consciously choose to be happy. It takes practice, but the more you focus on the positive, the more you’ll find yourself naturally being positive with less effort.

3) Do only what you can.

Allow the universe to work on your behalf! If you are one of those people who feels like everything rides on your shoulders and it’s “all up to you,” let go of that thought as quickly as you can. Begin affirming daily that a loving universe is helping you, guiding you and smoothing the path before you. You don’t have to do everything yourself! Do what you can, and then turn over the rest to the universe. You don’t have to work yourself to death or figure everything out yourself.

There is more to using the Law of Attraction deliberately of course, but these three steps are powerful in their own right. Even if you made no other changes than these three, you’d still be astounded by the changes it will create in your life.

More than anything else, it’s important to know that you are not a victim. You are not a passive observer. You have the power to choose. And you can exercise that power beginning now.

Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Helps Opera Singers Overcome Performance Anxiety And Hit The High Notes.

May 15th, 2008 SarahCarson Posted in Self Help | No Comments »

In our New York NLP Practice I work with a number of clients to help them overcome performance anxiety. Stage fright shows up in many ways that can negatively affect performance, but by using Neurolinguistic Programming techniques it can be conquered.

I worked with a client this past week who shared her concerned about hitting the high notes while performing (and has given permission for me to post this here).

Chrissy is a coloutura soprano, and easily reaches those high D’s and E’s in voice lessons and while practicing at home and yet was nervous about “going for them” in auditions or in performance.

“Part of me wants to show everyone that I can sing these notes and part of me is frightened and wants me to hold back in case I don’t make it or crack on the note,” she explained to me.

In the NLP world when one hears the words “part of me this and part of me that…” it frequently leads to an exercise called The Visual Squash.

I asked Chrissy to sit comfortable in her chair and to place her hands in front of her, palms up. I then asked her to indicate to me in which hand was the “part” of her that was frightened of performing the high notes. Chrissy thought for only a split second then smiled and said, “hmmm well it’s in this hand” (waving her left hand). “…and in this hand…?” I asked touching her right palm. “Well that’s the part of that is singing all those high notes so beautifully” she said.

I then asked Chrissy to take a moment and ask the part of her that was singing the high notes what it’s intention was. She answered almost immediately:

• Chrissy: “to show what I can do”.

• Me: “and when you have that… what else is there?”

• Chrissy: “Happiness”

• Me: “And when you are showing what you can do and you have happiness, what else is there?”

• Chrissy: “Joy!” (she was beaming by this time)

• Me; “ and beyond that…?

• Chrissy: “it’s a completeness and wholeness”

By asking these questions I was asking Chrissy’s unconscious mind to find the highest intention of this part. Next I would ask the same of the other “part” in her left hand. What I would be looking and listening for was for some kind of “mutual” higher intention of both parts. …a sort of higher common ground where both parts can move into alignment.

I touched Chrissy’s left palm and asked her to ask the part that was nervous of the high notes what it’s intention was..

• Chrissy: “Safety…it stop me from being embarrassed”

• Me:” and when you have that….what else?”

• Chrissy: “Comfort”

• Me; “and with safety and comfort…what else do you have?’

• Chrissy: “protection and ease’

• Me: “and what is beyond that?”

• Chrissy: “ A sense of wholeness”

We had reached a place where both parts had reached a mutual higher intention.

By this time in the process Chrissy was in trance (this is quite usual when accessing these inner thoughts and feelings). I asked Chrissy’s unconscious mind to bring these two parts together by bringing her hands together in her own time. I continued to guide Chrissy verbally using much of the positive language she had used during the session. I noted that Chrissy’s hands began to move together slowly and in a jerky fashion which is typical of unconscious movement and exactly what I expected to see.

As Chrissys hand came together in front of her I suggested that she bring this feeling into herself, back into her body, integrating and consolidating these new learnings. I continued the trance until Chrissy’s hands were together and over her heart.

I then brought Chrissy back out of trance and asked her how she felt different now. She smiled a broad smile and said “well now I’m ready to wholly sing those high notes with complete joy ”

The Visual Squash pattern is a fundamental NLP skill that we teach on our Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner training here in New York.

Your Moment Of Power Is Now

May 14th, 2008 TimWhiston Posted in Self Help | No Comments »

Ancient wisdom from many cultures, and cutting-edge scientific experiments performed in modern labs both point to the incredible power of observing the present moment. Tapping into this simple practice can set you free from all obstacles and empower you to manifest everything you desire.

Most people spend their time living in a past that is forever gone and a future that hasn’t even been realized yet. For some reason we seem intent on avoiding the present moment with all manner of daydreams and self-distractions.

However, when we allow our minds to be free from regret and anxiety, and focus clearly on the present moment, we have access to the virtually limitless power of mindfulness. By simply deciding to be aware of our bodies, thought processes, and surroundings without getting lost in our internal chatter, we open the door to an abundance of new possibilities.

Enhanced physical energy, the ability to focus our attention more sharply and think more clearly, and a heightened sense of intuition are only a few of the benefits we gain as we practice daily mindfulness. By mindfulness, I simply mean the activity of paying attention to what we are doing in the present and letting our minds flow freely without participating in the “mental movies” that make up much of our day.

You can begin this sacred yet simple exercise immediately just by taking account of what you are doing right now.

Feel the physical sensation of your body in the chair.

Allow yourself to hear the sounds around you without becoming distracted.

Read the words on this screen and watch your mind flow without interruption.

Give it a try. You’ll find yourself slipping back into a state of distraction after only a few seconds.

It’s amazing how difficult it can be for our minds to simply stop chattering away at us and pay attention for as little as five minutes! But with practice it becomes easier, and your whole life begins to open up in a way you never imagined possible.

Key to this entire process is the ability to observe your thoughts as they occur and not become attached to them. Your conscious mind flows like a never-ending stream, and a big part of its job is to identify and analyze everything in your world; but you don’t have to identify with or be influenced by every thought you have.

In fact you can choose to entertain only those thoughts that empower your purpose! But that will be the topic of another article.

For now I want to emphasize the practice of stepping back from your thoughts and becoming immersed in your present reality as it unfolds. In addition to wonderful improvements such as greater energy, focus, and love of life, I believe this practice further empowers you to define your personal destiny.

Through Quantum mechanics, researchers have found that a human being can affect the behavior of electrons and atoms by the mere act of observing them! Consider the astonishing ramifications of this statement.

Science has proven that we can directly influence physical reality with thought alone. And the daily practice of being mindful and aware of the moment makes it far easier for us to focus our intentions as we observe the natural flow of life.

The New Reality Of Energy

May 14th, 2008 JulieRedstone Posted in Religion | No Comments »

We have tended to think of matter as solid and of thoughts and feelings as invisible and insubstantial. More like air than like anything physical. Now, it turns out that both physical matter and our thoughts and feelings are all composed of energy. Indeed, the entire physical reality that we know of is composed of energy, despite the fact that it appears solid to our eyes.

The new interpretation of reality as being based in energy, whether it is outer reality or inner, comes from an understanding of the principles of spiritual light. These principles teach us in both conceptual and practical ways, that the energy of light can penetrate physical matter and interact with it in ways that could not take place if it were actually solid and impenetrable. Rather, spiritual light acts as a powerful force or current that can merge with anything, and in so doing, can transform that thing from within.

The increase of light upon the earth, today, has begun to show itself in the expansion of consciousness of some, reflected in the new experiences of intuition, inspiration, and other-dimensional awareness that could not have taken place years ago. This infusion of light into our mental process has created a return to a deeper level of knowing and of perception than many of us have felt previously in our lives.

Simultaneously, the infusion of light can create temporary mental disturbances – difficult areas of thought that one would prefer not to encounter, areas that feel like they cannot be counteracted by an effort of will, but that seem to take up occupancy in the brain, unbidden.

The same is true for emotional life. The energy of light interacts with the energy of emotion, producing states that are unexplainable of peace, joy, love, and a sense of inner strength that one may not have felt before. This same infusion of spiritual light can also bring up emotions that have been long forgotten or repressed, that now clamor for attention and for healing.

These internal events are stirred by the interaction of light with the energy of thought and feeling. They are bringing us, individually and collectively, into a new consciousness of who we are as Divine children of God. On an external level as well, the energy of light is interacting with the energetic matrix of physical matter – the part that we know of as atomic and sub-atomic particles – to create within that energetic matrix a new relationship of particles, a new way of matter being held together. The difference is not one that is entirely visible to the eye, and yet some can notice when the trees, plants, and birds in the yard seem to be more alive and have greater vitality. It is more difficult to notice that the earth as a whole, including the entire realm of nature, is becoming more transparent to light and less dense.

We have come a long way in our understanding of the human psyche, and there is far more to go. Today’s challenge is to recast the psychological understanding that we have held for so long regarding thought, feeling, and matter, into a new frame of reference in which all that exists is energy, and as such, follows Divine principles that are part of the construction of the universe and of physical reality.

Blessed is this time of transformation, for the earth’s transition into light and that of individual consciousness will manifest a new and abundant way of life for the inhabitants of the earth.

Julie Redstone is a writer, teacher, and founder of Light Omega, a spiritual center for healing and transformation in western Massachusetts, and One World Meditations, a global meditative effort to bring light and healing to the earth and to strengthen the planetary network of light.

No Mistakes

May 14th, 2008 MaryCaprio Posted in Self Help | No Comments »

Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda…that’s what I always say. I have learned that life can either be a learning experience that inspires you to push forward or an excuse to quit trying.

When I was attending iPEC to obtain my coaching certification, they introduced a number of coaching principles, one of which is “There are no mistakes, only opportunities.” It has taken me a long time to even begin to understand what this means, but the more I think about it, the more sense it makes to me.

How many times have you chosen to do something and then had it blow up in your face? It’s happened to me MANY times, and if you think about it, I’m sure it has happened to you as well. A bad business investment, a failed relationship, an unplanned pregnancy, a messy divorce - and so you lick your wounds, figure out what went wrong and vow to make a better decision the next time around. So, was it a mistake - or an opportunity to learn ways to conduct your life in a more thoughtful manner? Or was it a way for you to catapult yourself in a totally different direction that is more suited for you?

Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda…..turn that into I CAN, I WILL, I SHALL. Look, we all screw up. We didn’t come out of the womb knowing how to say all the right things, make all the right decisions. At 16 or 17 years old, our kids are expected to decide what they want to do for the rest of their lives. They enroll in college for one thing and often change their minds, sometimes 3 or 4 times. A mistake? Nah. Did you know what you wanted to do when you were 17 years old? I did. I wanted to be an attorney and live my life as a single woman living in Manhattan. Instead, at 51, I am a married life coach living in the suburbs of New Jersey. What happened? My college career was derailed when I had an accident that left me bed ridden for a year. That year totally changed my focus and I never went on to law school - not even close. That single event changed the course of my life.

So, not only was it an opportunity, it was a part of the journey.

Even if you believe something to be an awful, life altering mistake, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t something to be gained from it. It’s all in the way that you look at it. When my husband died in October 2000, it was the end of my life as I knew it. I was never one to ask, “Why Me?” or “Why Us?” because it didn’t matter to me what the reason was; I only knew that I had been robbed of more time with a man whom I loved deeply.

That event changed the foundation of who I am. If my late husband were to return today, he might not recognize the person that I have become as a result of his death. I worry less and play more. I appreciate the little things. I am quicker to laugh, slower to anger and I like to think that I am more compassionate. Those changes led me down a different path - one that brought me to the man I am now married to. He is similar to my late husband in many ways, but different in the ways that work well with the woman I have become.

So, the dilemma is this - how do you embrace the idea that one person’s death created an opportunity for someone or something else? I haven’t figured that out yet I just know that it is what it is. It is an opportunity.

Why is it that some people can turn adversity into opportunity while others get caught up in despair and self deprecation? It has so much to do with the Laws of Attraction and the power of your mindset and attitude. If you have read or heard about “The Secret” or the laws of attraction you will find that this is not a new concept. Through the ages, there has been evidence that this way of thinking works. Don’t you want a piece of that?

The Power Of An Affirmation!

May 14th, 2008 RonnieNijmeh Posted in Self Help | No Comments »

Our determination and firm resolve is instrumental in our success.

When we truly make a life-altering, firm commitment - one where we resolve to make a concrete difference - there’s a fiery passion in our heart, mind, and eyes. A passion that is nearly unstoppable. Our mind, body, and spirit are aligned and we move full steam ahead.

Wouldn’t you like this unstoppable passion?

Well one of the first things that happen in these ultra-determined states, is positive self-talk which is as simple as integrating powerful positive affirmations into our lives.

Using the Power of Positive Affirmations to Push You Further

When you recite a positive powerful affirmation, you are taking the first step to change your thought process. Positive powerful affirmations can be used by anyone to enhance their excellence in any field they chose. Affirmations are so powerful because they reinforce the confidence in yourself and they help you fulfill your ambitions.

Powerful positive affirmations can transform your life in a big way. They will get deeply embedded in the sub-conscious mind and reinforce your confidence on the conscious level also. So many of my clients have used the power of positive affirmations to run grueling marathons, get through difficult family tragedies, and even get the job they desire.

In order for positive affirmations to be deeply embedded into your mind, you will need to constantly integrate them into your life by reading them out aloud in order to fully understand their meaning. Read them with a passion - believe the words you speak!

There is a school of thought that our minds are most alert to remember things in the early morning (just as we wake up), and at night (just before we go to sleep). So, especially read your powerful positive affirmations during these times in order for your mind to think about them all day or to sleep on them all night. Don’t give up if you are not able to see results immediately. Be patient! The results that you enjoy may differ for you and you never know when they come in handy. If you want faster results, then you need to write them in a notebook daily, put them on your computer desktop wallpaper, on your bathroom mirror, and repeat them constantly. This will help to reinforce them and integrate them into your life.

Keep focused on the fact that the power of positive affirmations will change your life in such a monumental way. You will see the results in all areas of your life if you are open to it. You will be more confident and consistent. You will be healthier and happier. People will see how energized you are and your energy will rub off on others. The principle and power of positive powerful affirmations will become so ingrained in your mind that you will be forming them in all areas of your life subconsciously.

Some more free positive powerful affirmations to help you achieve your goals are as follows:

• I am in perfect balance and harmony with who I am.

• I relax and let go of old habits that bring me down.

• I remember to practice new habits that will boost my life.

• When I create harmony in my own mind I will find it reflected in my life.

• I am full of energy and hope.

• I know with great certainty that I can achieve my dreams.
